Shock Troopers
this group of red-armored clone troopers was specially trained on the planet Coruscant, rather than on Kamino, in order to serve as the personal guards to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Much of their development was a closely-guarded secret, although it was later discovered that a group of Kaminoan cloners was transplanted to Coruscant to bring the shock troopers to life. Ostensibly, the shock troopers were part of the Homeworld Security Command. During the final stages of the Clone Wars, the shock troopers were under the command of Commander Thire. After the establishment of the New Order, the shock troopers became the elite Coruscant Guard.
