Thundering Herd
this was the name given to the initial group of AT-AT walkers that were placed under the command of General Maximillian Veers, for the purpose of training for a planetary assault. The pilots were hand-picked by Veers himself, and the core of the Thundering Herd became the primary members of the Blizzard Force group that participated in the Battle of Hoth.
