this was the set of rules and regulations that were established for the mining industry on the planet Bandomeer, after the Offworld Mining Company was removed from power and expelled from the planet, shortly before the Battle of Naboo. The MIS ensured that the mining operations worked together to monitor Bandomeer's resources and use hired labor, and not indentured workers, in their workforces.
