this was one of the primary trade winds that blew across the Great Sea of Bandomeer. A large portion of the ocean-going traffic used these winds to propel their ships across the water to other ports on the planet. Free-floating mining platforms also moved along the path of the Gray Westerly, trying to track the motions of the bandorium "tides."
