Superstruct
this was the name given to BioTech's skeletal reinforcement system. It was originally designed for implantation into the bodies of those being who suffered from degenerative bone disorders, where the natural skeletal system was unable to support the rest of the body. In an intense surgical operation, the entire skeleton of an individual was augmented with unique polymers and alloys that provided strength, stability, and protection. Some of these implants eventually made it to the black market, where all manner of criminals had their skeleton enhanced for durability.
