this band of pirates terrorized weak or poorly-defended systems in the Outer Rim Territories during the last years of the Old Republic. The Blackstar Raiders were ambushed at Medara's Outpost, when a group of freelance mercenaries - hired by the Outpost - spread rumors of undefended warehouses and other supply depots. The mercenaries were able to defeat the Raiders, bringing an end to their predations.
