this man was one of the first Inquisitors created by Emperor Palpatine during the early months of the New Order. Malorum was sent to the planet Bellassa to quell the population and subjugate the planet, as an example of what could happen to those planets that openly opposed the Empire. When it was learned that Ferus Olin and Roan Lands were behind many of the public demonstrations, Malorum set out to have them arrested and interrogated. He hired the bounty hunters D'harhan and Bobe Fett as a way to ensure their capture. However, only Roan was captured, and he resisted all attempts to wring information from him. His rescue by Amie Antin and Obi-Wan Kenobi prompted Inquisitor Malorum to issue Order 37 to his forces, allowing for the capture of hundreds of seditious citizens. Under a public decree made by Malorum, those captured would be executed unless Ferus turned himself in. However, when the time came to order the executions, Malorum found himself unable to act. The entire population of Ussa had been alerted to the executions by the efforts fo the Eleven, and Malorum was forced to hold off on the killings or risk a full-scale riot. This allowed Obi-Wan and Ferus to free the captives and escape before Malorum could put any other plans into motion. The two former Jedi then discovered that Malorum had been gathering information of all kinds for Darth Vader himself, including data on Polis Massa. The Jedi were able to obtain the information before it could be transmitted, helping to keep the remote asteroid base a secret.
