this starfighter maneuver was used during the height of the Clone Wars, and involved a pilot using his forward attitude jets to kick his starfighter into a reverse position. In this way, a pilot could surprise the pilot of an enemy ship that were in pursuit. Because the fighter was suddenly facing backward, the pilot could fire on his pursuit and eliminate them.
