this space station was originally created in orbit around Yavin 4 as an outpost for spacers who were traveling through the Yavin System, or for explorers who were traveling to Yavin 4 itself. After the Battle of Yavin, the station was appropriated for use by Imperial forces, during the investigation of the former Alliance base in the temple ruins on Yavin 4.
