this collection of mining operations was formed in the wake of the Battle of Endor, after Imperial forces abandoned the Gromas System and their mining operations on Gromas 16. The GromasMines Cooperative took control of the various mining facilities it found in the system, and began extracting and refining phrikite and other ores for export throughout the galaxy.
