this insect, native to the planet Kashyyyk, was named for the way it bored into the wood of the wroshyr tree, feeding as it moved but never destroying enough of the tree to cause it harm. The Kachirho clan used the borer beetle as their symbol, since they built the city of Kachirho in a huge wroshyr tree without damaging the tree itself.
