originally known as the Koros Interceptor, this planetary defense fighter was developed in the wake of the Great Hyperspace War on the planet Koros Major. When the planet was renamed Empress Teta, the ship became known as the Tetan Interceptor. The four-winged fighter was distinguished by the forward mandibles that protected the cockpit, and which housed the communications and sensor systems. A laser cannon was mounted at the tip fo each wing, and an ion cannon was mounted on the nose of the ship. From tip to tail, the Tetan Interceptor measured 14.2 meters in length. The ship required a pilot and co-pilot to operate. Because its primary mission profile was planetary defense, the Tetan Interceptor was not equipped with a hyperdrive.
