Blaster Fist
one of the most unusual melee weapons ever developed, the blaster fist resembled a hemispherical shield that was worn over the hand. Inside the blaster fist, a short rod allowed the wielder to hold onto the weapon. At the end of this rod was a firign stud that could be pushed with the thumb. When fired, the blaster fist emitted a powerful, though extremely short-range, blast of cohesive energy. Because of the size of the blaster fist, it could only be fired a few times before requiring a recharge. If the power ran out, the blaster fist could be utilized as a bludgeon.
