this polearm was developed by the Wookiees of Kashyyyk. The main body of the bladestick was a heavy wooden staff, and a large blade was mounted at either end. Because each blade was essentially the size of a short sword, it required a Wookiee's strength to be able to wield the bladestick withou harming oneself.
