this man and his wife, Cira, were traveling to Coruscant to see their first grandchild when they were kidnapped along with Senator Meena Tills by a group of Haruun Kal terrorists led by Nuriin-Ar, during the early stages of the Clone Wars. It was later learned that Senator Tills wasn't the primary target, just a convenient diversion for the possible killing of N'zaet Nir.
