this female varactyl was a mount used on their planet Utapau. Obi-Wan Kenobi was allowed to ride Boga during his search for General Grievous, during the final days of the Clone Wars. The Jedi felt through the Force that Boga was one of the most loyal and obedient of her kind, and her strength and speed were welcome assets. Note that there are two accounts of Boga's death on Utapau. The first, from the Star Wars: Episode III Illustrated Screenplay, indicates that after chasing Grievous on his wheel-bike, Boga was unable to maintain her grip when they careened head-long through the sinkhole of Pau City. The second, from the novelization of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, indicates that Boga was killed later, when Commander Cody and his clone troopers received Order Sixty-Six from Chancellor Palpatine and opened fire on the dragonmount and General Kenobi. Although Kenobi managed to survive, Boga was forced off a cliff during the pursuit and fell to her death.
