Legend

according to local legends, this band of pirates was wiped out when their starships crashed into the vast, desert wastelands of Tatooine, many years before the Galactic Civil War. Local scouts and explorers searched for years to find the wreckage of the ship, but no evidence was ever found. The possibility of the ship's existence attracted many treasure hunters to Mos Eisley, and more than a few unscrupulous "guides" brought them into the desert for the chance to locate it.
