Technobeast
despite their name, Technobeasts were actually miniature forms of automata created by the ancient Sith Lord Belia Darzu. Each tiny Technobeast was capable of being inserted into the living body of another being, where it rewrote the being's genetic codes. In order to provide the Technobeasts with the intelligence they needed, Darzu used the mechu-deru technique to imbue them with the energy of the Dark Side of the Force.
