BD-3000
also known as a Bettybot, the BD-3000 was a humanoid droid created to serve as a personal assistant and servant. Resembling a human female in form, the BD-3000 was produced by LeisureMech Enterprises during the last years of the Old Republic, and could be purchased in a variety of colors and finishes. More then twenty-five secondary functions could be added to the BD-3000's basic programming, allowing a unit to serve in such capacities as cook, nanny, or pilot. Because of this flexibility, many BD-3000 were given aftermarket upgrades on the black market, serving as bodyguards or even consorts.
