Eixes, Valorum
this man was once the Supreme Chancellor of the Old Republic, many centuries before the onset of the Clone Wars. Chancellor Eixes was remembered for his love of standing ovations during his speeches, and it was not unusual for simple orations to take hours, due to the continual rising and applause from the Galactic Senate. After Chancellor Eixes left office, the practice of standing ovations was dropped for many years, until the reign of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine.
