this Xi Charrian was a member of Workshop Xcan during the final years of the Old Republic. When the mechno-chair of Nute Gunray was captured on Cato Neimoidia, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi discovered that one of the rear legs appeared to have been adorned with his signature carvings. He was angry and confused when the Jedi arrived on Charros IV to question him about it, then tried to escape when the Jedi linked his work to the Trade Federation and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Jedi managed to recapture him, and t'laalak-s'lalak-t'th'ak revealed that the mechno-chair had been brought to Charros IV by someone other than Gunray or his cronies. Although t'laalak-s'lalak-t'th'ak didn't know the being's name, he was able to tell the Jedi that the hyperwave transceiver in the mechno-chair had come from Escarte.
