this race of arrogant, winged reptiloids was once native to the planet Basilisk, until they poisoned their homeworld during the Battle of Basilisk, in an attempt to keep it from falling into the hands of the Old Republic or the Sith. Over the following millennia, the Basiliskans degenerated into a feral society of creatures that eventually became known as Lagartoz War Dragons.
