Tac-Spec Footman
this series of personal service droids was produced several centuries before the Clone Wars, but was widely considered one of the most loyal and deadly types of droids ever produced. The Tac-Spec Footman's primary programming centered on loyalty to its owner, which it backed up with the ability to assassinate almost any being who posed a threat to its master. The kill ratio of the Tac-Spec Footman was virtually unparalleled among other droids, let alone among assassins in general. The entire run of production was quite small, and each droid was produced at a high cost to its buyer, but the cost was more than offset by the loyalty and protection it offered.
