Tavya-class Armored Picket
this Hoersch-Kessel patrol ship was developed for the Old Republic during the height of the Clone Wars. Its mission profile was to use in scouting hyperspace exit points for military and diplomatic convoys, dropping out of hyperspace long enough to scan the location for Separatist ships. These ships were well-armed for their size, with a turret-mounted laser cannon and a missile launcher, and the Republic often installed an extra proton torpedo launcher underneath the fuselage for added security.
