this short-winged raptor was native to the planet Coruscant, although many xenobiologists believed that it had evolved far beyond its original appearance. The blunt wings of the spire falcon allowed it to make sharp turns and cuts within the confines of the buildings that studded Coruscant's surface, where the spire falcon hunted for scrap mice. Its mottled gray feathers mimicked the ferrocrete of the buildings, providing the spire falcon with almost perfect camouflage.
