BARC Speeder
this was a form of speederbike developed for the Grand Army of the Republic by Aratech, during the height of the Clone Wars. The name came from the mission profile of the clone troopers who used them. Biker Advanced Reconnaissance Commandos used these one-man speederbikes to move swiftly across a battlefield. The BARC Speeder was a slender vehicle that measured just over 4.5 meters in length, with the seat and controls mounted at the rear. The repulsorlift engines were located in a pod at the front, and a pair of laser cannons were mounted on the nose. Note that Star Wars Insider magazine, issue 83, indicates that the BARC Speeder was based on the Ripper, which was produced by Mobquet.
