this young boy was a student at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant during the last years of the Old Republic. Known for his enormous spirit and charm, Pax was just eleven years old at the height of the Clone Wars. Many of his fellow students believed that Pax actually used the Force to make people like him, a skill that was borne out when he was paired against Tallisibeth Enwandung-Esterhazy in the Apprentice Tournament. He gently persuaded her to let him win their match, and might have succeeded if Scout hadn't figured out what he was doing. Scout eventually defeated Pax by using some of the hand-to-hand fighting techniques she had learned. Pax watched Scout's progress throughout the tournament, and was as surprised as everyone else when Scout ended up winning the whole thing. As he explained to her afterward, she opened his eyes to the roles of resourcefulness and tenacity in the actions of a Jedi.
