Sea of Veruna
this was the name given to a large area of dead, empty space located near the Naboo System. Many local hyperspace travel lanes passed through the Sea of Veruna, since it provided an obstacle-free approach to Naboo. During the height of the Galactic Civil War, the Imperial forces controlling Naboo "secured" the Sea of Veruna, patrolling it on a regular basis.
