this man served the Old Republic naval forces as a Captain, and was in command of the By'ynium during the mission to liberate the Intergalactic Communications Center from the Separatists, some two and a half years after the Battle of Geonosis. During the initial phase of the battle plan laid out by Jedi Master Nejaa Halcyon, the By'ynium was the first Republic ship to be shot down in combat. Lench, and the entire crew, perished in the explosion.
