this corvette was one of the many ships used by the Old Republic during the height of the Clone Wars. It was dispatched with the Ranger and its small fleet to Praesitlyn, under the command of Jedi Master Nejaa Halcyon, on the mission to retake the Intergalactic Communications Center from the Separatists. While Halcyon oversaw the operation from the Ranger, Anakin Skywalker commanded the main landing force from the Neelian. The orders from General Halcyon indicated that the Neelian was to stay out of any firefight that might occur, and to focus on getting her troops to a safe drop point.
