this was a term used by the clone commandos of the Grand Army of the Republic to describe the use of an EMP grenade against living troops. Electromagnetic pulses wreaked havoc with the sensitive electronic systems of a droid or other technology, but were generally harmless to living beings. However, the Katarn armor used by the clone commandos was loaded with technology that was disabled by the blast of an EMP weapon. Thus, any commando hit by an EMP weapon was considered to have been "droided."
