this huge, intergalactic corporation had several divisions that produced a wide range of military technology. The primary division was the BlasTech Corporation, which was known for its blaster weapons. During the height of the New Order, BlasTech refused to officially join the Empire. In exchange for this measure of freedom, BlasTech agreed to provide Imperial forces with weaponry at a fraction of their market price.
