this was a term used to describe a wide range of light wavelengths, most of which were in the infrared spectrum, which were emitted by high-tech lighting equipment. Infradig rays became something of a buzzword during the last years of the Old Republic, as underhanded retailers began selling specialized glasses to block these otherwise-harmless rays from reaching the eyes.
