this was a variant on the Old Corellian language, used by Ensterite families during the height of the Old Republic. Unlike the Old Corellian spoken on worlds like Socorro, the High Tongue was considered the language of aristocrats. Most families eventually adandoned the High Tongue and adopted the Basic language, returning to the archaic language only on Purging Days.
