this Zabrak was one of the many Iridonians who supported the Old Republic and the Jedi Order during the years following the Great Sith War. A mechanic by trade, Bao-Dur enlisted in the Republic military after witnessing Mandalorian soldiers attacking Iridonian colony worlds. In addition to being an excellent warrior, Bao-Dur lent his technical skills to the development of new shields and other technology. While fighting in the Mandalorian Wars, served under the Jedi General who was later known only as The Exile. Thanks to Bao-Dur's skills, the Mass Shadow Generator was built and eventually used to win the Battle of Malachor, during which Bao-Dur lost his left arm in combat. The limb was replaced with a mechanical prosthesis, which gave him added strength. He retired from active military duty, taking up residence on Telos. It was on Telos that Bao-Dur rejoined The Exile, during the search for information on Darth Sion. Bao-Dur's skills with shielding technogoly allowed The Exile to escape several desparate situations, and ultimately helped their group defeat Darth Traya and her fellow Sith Lords. It was Bao-Dur's droid, known as Remote, that reactivated the Mass Shadow Generator, causing the destruction of Malachor V and destroying the Trayus Academy. Note that this character is also referred to as Bao Dur.
