named for their inventor, the noted isolationist Karakan, these heavy gauntlets were essentially a self-contained medical computer system. The gauntlets constantly monitored the wearer's nervous and circulatory systems, and could adjust nerve impulses, blood pressure, and tension through the wearer's hands. The use of these gauntlets gave a user greater stability.
