developed more than 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin, a bio-stabilizer implant was essentially a micro-computer that was imbedded in a being's body to analyze the contents of the circulatory system. Using sophisticated algorithms, the implant removed undesirable elements from the blood in an effort to maintain stability. The implant could also monitor surges and drops in nerve transmission rates.
