Dak Vesser
this being was a xenoarchaeologist who was investigating the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban, some 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. He had become tainted by months of close proximity to the Dark Side of the Force, and was suspicious of the Jedi Knights who tried to infiltrate the Sith academy. The Jedi were on Korriban to search for information on Darth Malak, and Vesser became angry at their constant intrusions. When the Jedi tried to question him at a cantina in Dreshdae, Vesser became angry and attacked them. He was killed in the fighting that ensued.
