this crystal was mined on the third moon of Erai many millennia before the Battle of Yavin. It was known to the Dark Lords of the Sith to produce a lightsaber beam that was superior to other crystals, with a clear color that was unnerving to look at. After the Sith bombarded the moon, most of the eralam veins were destroyed.
