this Imperial officer was assigned to the garrison on Dosunn, during the early years of the New Republic. When the remaining leaders of the Empire consolidated into the Imperial Remnant, Joris was left on Dosunn. The posting was considered a slap in the face by Joris, who took his apathy to extreme levels. He became grossly overweight, and did little to maintain his physical appearance. He amused himself by taking prisoners and setting them free inside the garrison and daring them to safely reach Dosunn's wilderness. Joris amused himself by hunting them down like animals. His reign on Dosunn was cut short some ten years after the Battle of Endor, when he managed to capture Jaden Korr. Joris thought it would be interesting to hunt down a Jedi Knight, and set Kor free. However, Korr had no intention of being killed, and confronted Joris. In a tense shootout, Joris was killed and Korr escaped Dosunn.
