R-1
this was the first of the reconnaissance droids produced by Arakyd. Developed to assist the cloen troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic, the R-1 droid could infiltrate an enemy position and then relay coordinates and other information to a remote location. This allowed the forces of the Old Republic to target Separatist locations from a great distance, with accuracy that could not be achieved with normal targetting systems.
