this desert was one of many that were located on the planet Geonosis. Within the boundaries of the E'Y-akh Desert was the Stalgasin Hive and its execution arena. Each year, the rain that sweeps across the surface of Geonosis floods the desert, overflowing the meager underground aquifers. The native Geonosians use this event to drown huge herds of merdeths. As the floodwaters move across the desert, they strip the shells of the merdeth of any flesh, and polish them on the sands.
