this large, airless asteroid was considered the twenty-second moon of the gas giant Yavin, although it was probably captured by Yavin's gravity rather than forming as part of the Yavin System. Yavin 22 was best-known as the final resting place of Yavin Station, which had crashed onto the moon some 4,000 years before the Battle of Yavin.
