this Force-sensitive Twi'lek worked with his siblings as assistants to Popara the Hutt, during the early years of the New Order. Popara employed Koya Utrila to scrutinize visitors and identify any who might be Jedi Knights, or latent Force-sensitives who might try to influence his mind. After Popara's death, Koya and her sister Dai went to work for Popara's youngest offspring, Mika. The sisters believed it had been Zonnos - and not Mika - who had killed Popara. They were among the many beings Mika employed to protect the Tempest facility on Varl. Koya was placed in charge of keeping Vago subdued. After Dai learned the truth behind Popara's death, Koya refused to believe it, until the agents hired by Popara were able to convince her of Mika's treachery. The sisters then agreed to help the agents destroy the Tempest facility and eliminate the threat of the spice.
