this Equani physician worked for the Grand Army of the Republic during the height of the Clone Wars, serving as a doctor and empath for the Rimsoo Seven military hospital on Drongar. Before joining the military, Merit worked a number of different jobs, including a boson wrangler for Industrial Automaton. When Barriss Offee discovered that there was a spy in the Rimsoo Seven camp, her investigations led her to two options: Tolk le Trene and Klo Merit. When she learned of Tolk's love for Jos Vondar and was able to look into Tolk's mind with the Force, Barriss discovered that Merit was the spy. She talked briefly to Jos about it, and the Corellian confronted Klo Merit with the evidence. Merit was forced to admit his double role as the spies Column and Lens, when Jos held his at blaster-point. When a Separatist attack on the Rismoo Seven base set off a series of explosions, Merit thought he had a chance to escape. However, the sound of the explosions masked the blaster fire from Vondar's weapon. Merit was killed instantly by the blast.
