this Duros was once trained to be a pilot, but he turned to a life of gambling and smuggling in order to make ends meet. Several years after the Battle of Naboo, Toodo found himself in debt to Beeda the Hutt, after losing a huge sum of credits at the Hutt's floating casino. He managed to escape Beeda for a while in his own ship, the Hot Streak, and won another starship, the aging Radiant Splendor, in a game of dice. He hoped to sell it for scrap, but discovered a Corellian sand panther caged in the hold. He knew that the creature was dangerous, and that it was illegal to posess once, so Kelna once again found himself in trouble. When Beeda ordered Kelna to take care of a group of meddlers, Kelna figured that he could con them into winning the Radiant Splendor, then lock them inside with the sand panther. Once the beast had killed them, Kelna would then kill the beast "in self-defense" and return to Beeda with the bodies, hoping to clear his debt with the Hutt. However, the meddlers turned out to be quite resourceful, managing to get the sand panther back into its cage before confronting Kelna. He begged for his life, and was ultimately jettisoned in an escape pod and left to fend for himself.
