this man was the first explorer to fully map out the regions of the Dashta Mountains and the neighboring Zantay Hills, some 400 years prior to the Clone Wars. Thus, the mountain range was eventually named for him, as were the nearly-sentient dashta eels that lived in the grottoes beneath the mountains.
