this was one of the oldest spaceports found on the planet Coruscant, during the last years of the Old Republic. It was located near the Jedi Temple, and often served as the starting point for many of the missions the Jedi Order performed for the Republic. Although the spaceport continued to be enhanced and upgraded over the decades, eventually becoming one of the most modern facilities on the planet, many of its older landing pads were preserved as monuments to the original designers.
