this woman, a former smuggler and entrepreneur who was native to the planet Atrivis 7, was a noted pilot who worked with the Desert Wind guerrilla group during the height of the Clone Wars. She was also loyal to the Old Republic, and agreed to help Kit Fisto and Obi-Wan Kenobi infiltrate the native Cestians in an effort to ascertain the truth behind the JK-series security droids being ordered by the Separatists. Her loyalty only extended as far as needed, and she made it perfectly clear to the offworlders that she was not happy about the situation. She was the daughter of Sheevis Tull, who taught her how to fly a starship. She nearly lost her sister on Devon Four, when the Republic refused to break an embargo to provide aid when a plague struck the planet. Sheeka took it upon herself to smuggler the antidote onto the planet, breaking several Republic laws to save her sister. A dark-skinned woman of exceptional beauty and strength, Sheeka had a stringent sense of humor and a deep-seated love of her people. As an eighteen-year-old smuggler, she moved about in her personal starship, the Spindragon, which she kept lovingly maintained. During this time she had a brief affair with Jango Fett, and she never forgot him. After her parents were killed in a range-war on Atrivis 7, she fled the planet to the most remote location she could reach: Ord Cestus. Once on the planet, she soon found herself in love with a miner named Yander. She also fell in love with his three children and the mining community. Thus, Yander's death hit Sheeka hard, and she retreated into her personal shell. Years later, when the Jedi arrived, she arranged to meet Master Fisto in the Dashta Mountains, and was surprised to find that the Nautolan was also accompanied by a group of ARC troopers. The appearance of the clones, who resembled Jango Fett at the time Sheeka first met him, shook her up a bit. It was their appearance that softened Sheeka a little, and she found herself attracted to Nate in many ways. Even training for combat drew her closer to Nate, who eventually changed his name to Jangotat. After their base was invaded by a group of combat droids, Sheeka managed to rescue the badly-injured Jangotat and remove him to her village in the Zantay Hills. It was during his recovery that Jangotat felt most vulnerable, and his presence at the settlement only placed Sheeka and her family in danger. Sheeka revealed that she hated what he represented, the Clone Wars and the way it was destroying the galaxy. As for Jangotat himself, she only felt pity. This pity changed to love after she took him to see the Guides in person, and Jangotat realized that he was unique in the galaxy, despite the obvious nature of his upbringing. She kissed him twice to prove her love, and Jangotat did nothing to prevent it. In the brief time they were together, Sheeka conceived a child by Jangotat, the only thing she had to cling to after his heroic death on the Kibo Plateau.
