this insectoid alien was a famous clothing designer who lived on Coruscant during the early decades of the New Republic. Leia Organa-Solo asked Chog to submit a design for Mara Jade's wedding dress, and the alien created an intricate gown based on a computer model formed from Mara's measurements and other data. The dress resembled a scaled and feathered creature, and was not removed as a candidate by Mara.
